Bournemouth

Bournemouth lies in the heart of Dorset on the South Coast and has seven miles of golden sands and sparkling sea. The vibrant cosmopolitan town of Bournemouth has it all – a vast variety of shops, restaurants theatres & shows plus a buzzing night life. It is home to beautiful parks and Bournemouth’s Gardens which are split into three areas of Victorian beauty- starting with the Lower Gardens, adjacent to the sea and leading to the Central Gardens in the town centre and then the Upper Gardens.

Your City Sightseeing tour, commencing at the Pier, takes you to see the highlights of the town including The Square with St Stephens Church and the Bournemouth Balloon, before heading to Boscombe Chine Ornamental Gardens and on to the seafront and Boscombe Pier, where Europe’s first multi £million artificial surf reef is 220m offshore. The reef is made up of 55 giant sandbags and is the size of a football pitch.

We journey to Southbourne for a scenic drive towards Hengistbury Head – an area of outstanding natural beauty where passengers can hop off to catch the land train to Mudeford beachand try their hand at some watersports, with the option to catch the ferry onward to Christchurch.

The tour can easily be re-joined at Tuckton Tea Gardens to enjoy a scenic trip along the sea front back to Bournemouth pier.
