Eastbourne is an attarctive and energetic town with a busy night life for young and old alike.Eastbourne boasts elegant promenades and a Victorian pier that houses a night club and the only Camera Obscura to be found on any pier in the country. Visit our famous Carpet Gardens that feature in the opening sequence of the film by Gurinder Chadha "Angus Thongs and Perfect Snogging".
Visit the historic Bandstand and the Lifeboat museum, take time to enjoy the beautiful Hollywell Gardens and a must is the stunning views from Beachy Head its self with views to the old Belle Tout lighthouse situated on top of the cliffs and the new lighthouse built in 1902 on the shore line. The south Downs were granted National Park status in 2009 and the beaches of Eastbourne were awarded two of the first ever Quality Coast Beach awards in 2007.
