• City Sightseeing – the world’s leading open top bus tour operator enriches its brand with new tour launch in the Ukraine.

City Sightseeing Worldwide launches its newest branded operation in Kiev - Ukraine. Since May 2012, local operator Open Kiev have been a recognised ticketing partner within the City Sightseeing global network and now, some 10 months later they have embraced the iconic branding and launched their new look and tour to tourists visiting this important Eastern European destination.

City Sightseeing Kiev’s unique double-deckers give passengers the comfort and safety whatever the weather thanks to a retractable roof which can slide in or out in an instant - protecting them from the elements. As visitors would expect from a City Sightseeing tour, the Kiev buses and the staff are dressed in the typical way that our brand is famous for which projects quality and value for money. The 45-minutes tour takes in most of the important landmarks and places visitors to the Ukraine capital would expect, like: Lavrska St, Ivan Mazepa St, Hrushevsky Mykhailo St, Kripatskyy ln, Mechnikova St, Esplanadna St, Saksahans’koho St, L.Tolstoy St, Volodymyrska St, Taras Shevchenko Blvd, Khreshchatyk St, Volodymyrska St and Sofiyska Sq. As well as a commentary system in either Russian or English, the tour tickets are valid all day and passengers can hop-on and off at any of the tours 24 stops along the route.
