Denmark is a small, prosperous kingdom in northern Europe. It has one of the highest standards of living in the world and plenty of charming experiences to delight visitors. Denmark is almost entirely surrounded by water, consisting of the Jutland Peninsula and 482 islands. Its only land border is with Germany. Denmark is reliant on shipping and fishing, has an important agricultural sector and is famed in particular for its dairy products; particularly its cheeses. The country’s landscape boasts thatched cottages, castles and windmills. Denmark’s medieval charm has been preserved in its vibrant and modern cities, in old districts which present colourful buildings and cobblestone streets.
The country's capital city, Copenhagen, occupies the biggest of the offshore islands. The city is a major regional centre of culture, business, media, and science. View Copenhagen's swirling towers and turrets, view the Amalienborg Palace, Gefion Fountain and delve into the Royal Library and the Botanical Gardens. Between May and September each year we have two extra tours, Carlsberg and Christiana, which are available if you choose an All Loops Ticket as these tours cannot be purchased as a stand alone tour.
