Visit The Palazzo delle Arti Napoli (PAN) to admire contemporary works of art or stop by the Palazzo Reale which houses a collection of paintings, frescoes, tapestries, chandeliers and furniture from the 17th to the 19th centuries. While you are there, perhaps you might like to stroll through the Piazza del Plebiscito where the Palazzo Reale is situated and follow the tradition; close your eyes, with your back to the Palazzo Reale, and try to walk between the two bronze horses. Marvel at the masterpieces of the world renowned Caravaggio. His Seven Acts can be seen in the Pio Monte della Misericordia, The Flagellation in the Capodimonte and The Martyrdom of St Ursula, in a gallery of the main branch of Banca Intesa Sanpaolo on Via Toledo. The Piazza Dante features some works by big international names in a unique environment; the city’s underground system. Certain stations act as a forum for showcasing new talent.
